Let Them Be Little.

Time for another photo contest at iheartfaces! This week’s the theme is “Let Them Be Little” and I thought this shot of my daughter and my godson would be appropriate.

At what point does it become unacceptable to eat  like this? To get so ridiculously covered in ice cream and jimmies that the only way to get clean again is for somebody to strip you down to your birthday suit and wash you off at a spigot on the side of a barn?

Seriously. We did that. They were so sticky!

Raise Your Hands.

Photo contest time over at iheartfaces! This week’s theme is “Raise Your Hands”, and when I saw that, this image from the other day immediately came to mind.

I throw my hands up in the air sometimes…

Great. Now that song will be stuck in my head all night. Coincidentally, that is my girlie’s favorite song. She thinks it goes “I throw my hands up in the air sometimes, sayin’ ‘Hey, yo, I got your eggo…’” We listen to a lot of radio on the car.

Baby Jacob. {edmonton newborn photographer}

Just can’t get enough of these newborns. Little Mr. Jacob was born back in July, he was just over two weeks old when we had our session. Mr. Man wanted to just snack and snack and really didn’t want to fall asleep for us, but that was okay. That just gave his mama and I more time to sit and chat over coffee. Flexibility is the name of the game when it comes to photographing newborns!

Thanks again for inviting me in to your home to spend some time with you and your little dude. I can’t wait for our next session, hopefully big sis will join in on the fun next time!

Mini-sessions. {Edmonton Children’s Photographer}

Hey everybody. I’ve decided that I need to throw myself a little “Welcome to Canada” party. And I could not think of a better way to do that than to entice you with some delicious mini-sessions. What is a mini-session, you may be asking? Why, read on and you shall find out!

A mini-session is just that. A tiny little photo session with all the flavour and only half the calories. It’s bite-sized!

Okay, now I just want some chocolate. Mmmmmm milky ways…. what was I talking about?

Right. Mini-sessions.

If you were waiting for a reason to give me a shot, here’s your reason, darling. Still have questions? Let me know!

Baby Shane. {edmonton newborn photographer}

It’s official! I’m back, baby!

The First Official Canadian Shoot has happened, and a lovelier baby I don’t think I could have found. He was so agreeable and snuggly… and his big sister was quite obviously thrilled to have a real life dolly to sing Twinkle Twinkle to. Thanks again you guys, for letting me come play with you all! Can’t wait to see the little boy Shane will grow into.

And this call goes out to all you Edmontonians- I’m now open for business! Tell your neighbors (that’s neighbours now, I guess), friends, relatives, lawn guy’s sister who just had a baby, tell everybody! I’m looking for the cutest kids in Edmonton. Let’s capture some memories.

More pictures of Shane after the jump! View full post »
